Curl to Participate in Rich Internet Application Seminar in AsiaCurl Chief Architect Bert Halstead to discuss best practices in developing enterprise-class Web-based applications Cambridge, Mass. — May 21, 2007 — Curl®, Inc. today announced its participation in an upcoming half-day Rich Internet Application seminar in Asia. On May 22, 2007, Curl Vice President and Chief Architect Bert Halstead will present a session on "Web 2.0 with Curl: RIA Platform and New Features of Curl 6.0" in Seoul, South Korea. In the session, Halstead will provide an overview of the Curl Rich Internet Application (RIA) Platform, which enables developers to implement enterprise-grade, complex Web-based applications. The seminar is open to the general public interested in hearing the benefits of RIA and how to use the Curl technology to develop real business applications that require support of large data sets, on-line and off-line usage, high performance and security. During his presentation, Halstead will provide an overview of the software requirements for building rich user interfaces and will highlight some of the new features of the next release of the Curl RIA platform. In addition to Halstead's presentation, the seminar will feature presentations that showcase real-life examples of companies using Curl, including Toyota Motor Company, as well as the largest semiconductor company in Korea and a financial services organization.
